About AEES
The Association of Environmental Engineering Students at Texas A&M University is an academic organization comprising dedicated students with an interest in environmental engineering. We have periodic meetings with professional speakers who work in the environmental engineering industry or related fields. AEES strives to enhance its student members' understanding of practical applications in environmental engineering as it relates to their classes and research, as well as to help transition them into the working environment following graduation.

In 2022, the Association of Environmental Engineering Students made a significant change by extending its membership to underclassmen, transitioning from a predominantly graduate-led organization. AEES previously volunteered with the Big Event and is looking to volunteer more in the future. Initiatives such as AEES study hangouts provide opportunities to connect with peers and build a supportive network. Additionally, AEES facilitates interactions with companies, enabling enlightening presentations of diverse career pathways available to aspiring Environmental Engineers. Through these endeavors, AEES continues to play a vital role in promoting personal and professional growth while making positive impacts on both its members and the broader community.
